Raeleen's Fancy Faces was officially born in 2008. As a stay-at-home mum to three children, face painting became Raeleen's creative outlet and sanity saver! Initially painting for free at the local playgroup and on play dates, the business soon evolved to service children's parties. 15 years on, Raeleen's Fancy Faces has expanded to become one of the most popular children's entertainment businesses in the Sutherland Shire and Wollongong. Her three children are now part of the team!

With Honours & Masters degrees in microbiology & microscopy, and having worked at Sydney Children's Hospital, Raeleen takes occupational hygiene very seriously and keeps her immunisations up to date. Her hygiene protocol for face painting includes a multi-step brush-rinsing process between clients and using one sponge per colour, per person wherever possible. Raeleen is a qualified secondary maths & science teacher and has also taught in primary schools and support units. She loves to paint on canvas in her spare time.
