​Ladies love henna, so a henna party is a perfect solution for tween, teen and adult parties. Henna needs approx 20 minutes to dry. Glitter tattoos are offered as an alternative for kids who can't sit still for the application & drying time, & for students attending non-government schools (glitter tattoos can be concealed under shirt sleeves).


BOLLYWOOD EXPERIENCE

​Bollywood parties provide fun & a cultural experience. Guests are encouraged to dress up - even your party host will wear a traditional Indian tunic. Guests receive an authentic Indian gift, a bindi for their forehead & a henna design. Guests can get creative drawing their own henna designs and compete for a prize in a fun Bollywood dance-off. 


BABY SHOWER PACKAGE

Fun for everyone! A beautiful belly design is created for the mum-to-be using either non-toxic henna or professional body paint. Beautiful or quirky designs available. Guests are pampered with quick henna designs.

​Raeleen makes her own henna using a traditional recipe of henna leaf powder, lemon juice, sugar & essential oils. Henna paste is applied to the skin and dries in approx 20 minutes. Dried paste should ideally be left on the skin for as long as possible for a deeper stain to develop. Initially orange in colour, the stain darkens to a deep brown as it oxidises over the following 48 hours. The stain then fades over the following 1-2 weeks (finger designs will fade faster). 

The henna plant is related to the tea plant, so reactions to natural henna are extremely rare. (Do not confuse traditional henna with 'black henna'. Often used overseas, 'black henna' is usually black hair dye and can cause chemical burns and scarring.)
